Browser tools
The web article matcher processes article text in your browser. Copying Markdown and generating PNGs also happen in the browser. Saved meme IDs are stored locally on this device.
Local storage remains until you remove it through your browser or clear site data. It is not synced to another device. Image files you download are then managed by your browser and device.
Optional public API
If you or an integration sends article text to POST /api/match, the server processes that text to return matches. The application does not save the article in a database or deliberately log its contents. The API is optional; the browser editor does not call it for matching.
Hosting and analytics
This site is hosted on Cloudflare. Hosting systems process ordinary request information such as IP addresses, URLs, browser details, and timing to deliver and protect the service. Cloudflare Web Analytics is used to measure page visits and performance with its browser beacon. The site does not send captions, uploaded image contents, or article text as analytics events.
Analytics and hosting are distinct from the local editor. Browser extensions or network settings may block the analytics beacon without preventing the tool from working. See Cloudflare’s privacy information for its processing.
Email and external links
Contact links open your email application. Sending an email shares the information you choose with the project contact and your mail provider. External documentation and licensing links have their own privacy practices.
No account or payment collection
The current version has no user accounts, checkout, or payment collection. It does not sell personal data or include advertising pixels. Do not put confidential information in a caption intended for public sharing.
